It all started with play days. I love watching the harmony between horse and rider, but I was frustrated with poor quality cell phone pictures of my daughter riding in them. I felt they didn’t do her or her horses justice. (This is before I knew how to change my settings on said cell phone to take better pictures!) So, I invested in a DSLR and some lenses, started learning how to use photo editing software (still learning!), and I started taking pictures, LOTS of pictures. I think that first play day I took nearly 900! I didn’t just take photos of my daughter; I took pictures of everyone that day and shared them to the organizations Facebook page. I learned to be ready at just the right time to capture the “good” action shots that everyone loves to have of themselves as they are racing around the arena on their horses. My hobby has now expanded from just play days to landscapes, macro, crystal ball, and more. I look forward to sharing some of these with you. I am going back in time to some of the first photographs I took and working towards my current photography… The All-Projects category on the menu contain all of my portfolios I currently have completed, you can click on them to expand, read about them and look at the pictures.
